| This begins the story of Lady Gray Paws a very magickal cat. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of meeting Gray Paws So the story begins with my husband, Gaelan. |
| My husband found Gray Paws at a time in his life when he was unhappy. But that kitten on his shoulder changed all that. |
| He found her as a kitten. He heard her meowing and answered her back. Gray Paws ran to him, proceeded to climb his leg all the way up until she got to his cheek and then she licked him. That was her way of saying (Your Mine!). There were problems at first. Gray Paws was sick. She had fleas, ticks, was undernourished, and other problems that kept her sick as a kitten. But with Gaelans' affections and love, she soon grew strong. Gaelan was involved with the S.C.A. (a renaissance group). Gaelan made pottery and would go to the S.C.A. Events to sell it. Guess who got to go with him? That's right Gray Paws. |
| The next morning, down stream in Georgia at another SCA event people woke up to find some of there cars under water. The word got out. |
| What do you think happened next? |
| When people found out that Gray Paws had not been allowed at that event. They knew the bad weather happened because of Gray Paws' anger. Two weeks later was Crown List in Tennessee Gray Paws received a special invitation to attend that event. And everyone knew as long as Gray Paws was in attendance everything was right in the world. |
| That was some time ago and Gray Paws lived well. And had many a kitten. She was a good mother and was respected by humans and cats. She did NOT respect dogs. Now it is time to meet some of her children. |
| This is Gray Paws II after we moved to where we live now. She was guardian of the garden. Gray Paws ll was close to me. She was my friend. She was different from her mother in that she did not like everyone she meet. She liked me. I miss her terribly. Old age took her. |

| This is Amanda and Booger. They are Sisters from different litters. They had kittens around the same time. They put them together and took turns nursing them. |
| This is Rachael. She loves fire. She is from Dragontail. She looks like her mother Dragontail. |
| This is Thomas (brown cat) and Vampire Kitty (black Cat). They are brothers from the same litter mothered by DragonTail. I do not have a picture of her. She was a gray tabby mix. DragonTail was mothered by Amanda. And Amanda is one of Gray Paws ll kittens. |
| Here are pictures of Drop Kick. I call him my son. Amanda had him along with two others. And for some reason, She would not have anything to do with them. So I bottle fed them and only he survived. His siblings are missed. Because he was hand raised , He is very pleasant to be around. He understands what we say. He tells us what to do. He is very close to my husband as well. Drop Kick is growing and doing well ! |

| Now Gray Paws had attitude. She would let you know it. Let us just say she knew she was the queen. In no time she was know as Lady Gray Paws. All was good until Gaelan had an event at a military base. (that shall remain nameless). No pets allowed there. So when it came time to go. Gray Paws got in the van like she usually did. Gaelan with heavy heart said, "You can't go". Gray Paws meowed. Gaelan said " I tired to get them to let you go. They still said no" Gray Paws growled and got out of the van and glared at Gaelan as he pulled out of the driveway. Funny thing happened. As Gaelan got closer to the event the worse the weather got. When Gaelan got there it started raining. Then, thunder, lightning, and high winds. The weather got so bad the military evacuated everyone. Event Canceled. |
